Und wichtig ist auch, dass es kein "repräsentativ" gibt, wenn irgendwann 60, 70 oder 80 % der Wahlbezirke ausgezählt sind. Hier ein Beispiel von der Europawahl in Sachsen 2024, als 399 von 418 Gemeinden ausgezählt waren vs. dem vorläufigen Endergebnis:

Today is World Press Freedom Day, observed to raise awareness of the importance of freedom of the press. The conditions for journalists vary considerably between OECD countries Here’s an update on the chart I shared on day 6 of the #30DayChartChallenge with 2026 data.

A dot plot, each OECD country’s freedom of the press score is plotted on a horizontal axis ranging from 25 to 100. Norway ranks first with 93, Türkiye last with 28.
Color indicates the press freedom classification: 7 countries with a good situation, 20 satisfactory, 7 problematic, 3 difficult, 1 very serious. A smaller grey dot indicates the value from the previous year (biggest developments mentioned in the post).

As the post implies, most movement happes in the 2nd to 4th quintile, while the 5th and highest quintile as well as the 1st/lowest quintile remain rather stable. 2 line charts which show the trends in two democracy indices for the U.S.: Liberal Democracy and Electoral Democracy measured by V-Dem. The x axis shows years from 1950 to 2025. Both indices show a steadily increasing trend from 1950 (values: 0.5 / 0.6) to the late 1970s / early 1980s (values: 0.8 / 0.85), followed by a stable period until 2001 with a decrease after 9/11.
