Did a little detour on my errand to have a look at this. Chances of anyone working out what to do from the road markings are slim to none, I would say

Melville drive/causewayside junction, showing the box into which you're meant to put yourself if turning right from causewayside into hope terrace. Reads as an advance stopping box for Melville drive to me, there's an arrow in it but you can't see that coming from causewayside

Edinburgh travel people, does anyone know what thy deal is with this weird bay they've created at the buccleuch street meadows junction? There was a left hand turn lane they've closed by widening the pavement at the junction, but why keep that bay? It's got double yellows so not a bus bay

I am literally German and looking at this word I felt like a foreign person who can't work out the break in a long compound word. Auskunft-eien? Auskunfteien a verb? Had to Google and an Auskunftei is a company that assesses people's credit worthiness - a 'credit bureau' You live and learn!

This is cool to know, but you definitely can turn safari off through the parental controls and it won't work if links are texted?

amazingly, it immediately became obvious that it is impossible to block the use of Safari on iOS. Yes, you can restrict access to the app, but children have quickly found workarounds for such measures, such as asking friends to message them links, which can bypass restrictions when opened.

A short walk every half hour. Practical advice for the employed person there! Sorry guys, no hour long meetings for me, I have to walk round the block in 20 minutes.

I'm reading On The Calculation of Volume, translated from Danish by a person with a Danish sounding surname, but here we are, 'outwith'. Does that mean we have broken this excellent word out of Scotland? #outwith

Short person maxi dress representation, it can be done I did make these so they are a lot shorter than the standard length - I agree with your assessment of the options given and I do enjoy both these dresses more in theory than practice. Fun to swirl around but not massively practical
