Here and tired, I make zines sometimes, I also do some other comics related stuff
Been delinquent with my drawing so going to start comics habit again (I cheated with this one I wanted to use colored markers so... 2 mins instead of 1)
Nopales tostada and pineapple kiwi chia seed drink from the JH Farmers Market
Other highlights were this wagashi cafe in Kyoto and in Fukuoka a bakery where the bread sometimes stabs itself
Remembering the special Yuri!! On Ice fancy steak dinner we had in Karatsu at Caravan makes me want to cry and also hungry
Last night Carina and I went to Binondo in Chinatown, a Filipino-Chinese restaurant, so good, I think the pancit bihon the best in had in my life? Also has the ginataang, sisig bites, and turon yummyyyy
New zine that's a remix of my older abstract zines from extra pages I found
Also made some very silly remix zines made up of loose pages from other zines
I printed these a different order (real, yellow, pink vs pink, teal , yellow) and the difference is kind of crazy
While cleaning found some loose leftover pages time to make another zine lol
Got some film developed from my lil 110 camera I found (I mean I bought it I just hadn't seen it in years) and the pics remind me of tumblr in 2010
Brooklyn! My zines are now available at the wonderful art gift shop From Here to Sunday in Gowanus! Ugh I love this store so much, it makes me want to make my own trinkets! I got this cute mini dining set from ridadoesthings (on insta)
Saw Jinsei at the IFC last night, not really sold on movies that are like "about life" aka a bunch of stuff happens to a dude but it was a crazy feat that this was animated by one person (you really see him improve??)
