A guy in Manhattan, Kansas wore an EMU football shirt to the bar and wound up getting into a fight and kicked out. Somebody else kept saying "that's a HS" and guy with shirt corrected "no it's a D1 school" and the other dude couldn't accept that so he chose violence.

I got into a bar fight over an Eastern Michigan shirt in Manhattan, Kansas
I went to a K-State bar in Manhattan, Kansas last night wearing a very generic shirt that just read “Eastern Michigan Football”. I was talking to this guy, we were just chatting, he kind of goes off the rail and at some point says “and this guy’s wearing a high school shirt” I was dumbfounded. He said it like an insult after we were being friendly. I just say Eastern Michigan is a division 1 school and start to go about my business. Dude did not like that and for whatever reason I entertained it and got into an actual fight over it. Needless to say I won because I have the MAC on my back. After I was kicked out of “Tubby’s” I go around and ask a couple other guys in their bar district what they think Eastern Michigan is. Everything was a retold response of “that sounds like a high school” I don’t know if it’s just Kansas State? I’ve heard they aren’t the smartest and they really didn’t seem like it but I feel any fan of college sports would know at the very least about the grey turf and Maxx Crosby. I have never set foot in Ypsilanti, or Michigan, and I am not an Eastern Michigan fan.

A New York sculptor has been left furious after spending $100,000 of his own money to build a lifesize statue of Charlie Kirk, only to find that no one wants to buy it.

Sergio Furnari, originally from Italy, had hoped the statue of the deceased far-right activist, which he intends to display in Times Square, would raise “millions” of dollars. Instead, he said he has been inundated by messages from people saying they intend to urinate on the sculpture.

Gonna pour one out at 12:50 and 6:20 for the 200th anniversary of Thomas Jefferson and John Adam’s dying on the same day.

During his last hours, he was accompanied by family members and friends. Jefferson died on July 4, 1826, at 12:50 p.m. at age 83, on the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. In the moments prior to his death, Jefferson instructed his treating physician, "No, doctor, nothing more", refusing laudanum. But his final significant words were, "Is it the Fourth?" or "This is the Fourth".[288] When his predecessor, John Adams, died at approximately 6:20 pm that same day, his last words were "Thomas Jefferson survives", though Adams was unaware that Jefferson had died several hours before.[289][290][291][292] The sitting president was Adams's son, John Quincy Adams, and he called the coincidence of their deaths on the nation's anniversary "visible and palpable remarks of Divine Favor".[293]
