It would be helpful for news reporters to be more clear that Congress is not an effective check on the executive in this era, because Republicans give a blank check. This news reporters reads as if this is one sided, a Democrat hang wringing instead of outright corruption.

“This is the same, tired narrative that Democrats have pushed against President Trump, his family, and his administration for more than a decade,” Anna Kelly, a White House spokeswoman said in a statement. “There are no conflicts of interest,” is a gullible use of sourcing and it is also an obvious lie.

Note the president’s sons invest in perplexity AI, another reason to abandon Microsoft and copilot.

ICE charged him with food stamp fraud and theft, and could not prosecute likely because it was bullshit. This guy had a “swollen tounge” at breakfast noticed by hospital staff. They treated him with epinephrine and he died 40 minutes later. Unbelievable. ICE is not credible.
