Lop-ears is more of a way of life than a day of the week for some folk

Room mate and I kinda schemed this together, which I just executed. Marinaded chicken thighs served with stirfry veggies, and served over white rice. [ #Food ]

Pictured is a white gas range oven with a skillet of stirfry veggies and a baking pan with four baked chicken thighs.

The thighs were marinaded overnight in a green onion teriyaki sauce, then seared on the outside until producing a caramelized sauce.

The thighs are then moved into the oven, preheated for 450°F, for 16 minutes.

With the skillet freed up and seasoned with this sauce, I move to add red wine, garlic, and chili crisp oil, then add the stirfry veggies. I let this simmer under a lid, stirring occasionally until the sauce reduces.

I continue to do this until the chicken is ready to come out of the oven, then serve over a bed of jasmin rice.

First one I started with was a Bamboo CTH-470. Got mine in 2011 and used it for 10 years. Worked that thing until it straight up fell apart.

XP•A13 in the form of a tiny mouse! It's quite aghast at its new size and shape. Its bright red fur gets noticeably brighter at the plumage on the ends of its tail— smoldering almost like a flame! Better label this one as a fire hazard.
