I too avoid the toxic place, so haven't read the article. It would be lovely if you posted it here or on your blog so more of us can read it please. Funnily enough I was thinking about Bruiser this morning. Here's my painting of him. 😊

The next test print in my #Linocut journey: Rook. I've concluded that hand burnishing & fibromyalgia don't mix, but until I can afford a press I've worked out a method involving 'treading' the print initially & then finishing off by hand. @stevecobbin.bsky.social #birds #wildlife #corvids

Here it is: I call it 'Minty Garden'. It's just cheap water based black ink on printer paper, as it's a test. My intention is to use decent paper and Payne's grey Caligo Safe Wash.

It's not this year, it's another from our visit to Aldeburgh in 2021. In Aldeburgh, even the public toilets are architecturally pleasing!

When we visited Aldeburgh in 2021 someone had yarn-bombed Snooks and I just had to capture it in a coloured pencil drawing. 😊

For #Januarty day 12, 'Pink', here is Pinky Punky of Timmy Mallet's Wacaday fame, depicted in watercolour line and wash.

Line and wash depiction of a foam mallet with a yellow handle and pink head, with a tuft of yellow hair on the head. The mallet has big white eyes with black pupils, contained within multicoloured glasses. It also has a fluffy round black nose, and an open mouth with visible tongue, as if he is laughing. On the handle there is a blue bow tie and some small logos. The face bears an uncanny resemblance to Timmy Mallet. Around the mallet, which sits at a jaunty angle on the page, there are areas where paint has been deliberately bled into the background, and splatters of paint in the same colours used on the mallet.

I have been missing #ArtAdventCalendar since it ended, so was delighted to discover this. 😃 So, here's my first post for #JanuArty: an old favourite, Canada goose in watercolour line and wash. Thanks to @carlbovisnature.bsky.social for the sourcephoto. #birds
