A beautiful hike to the summit of Ben Vorlich today. Plenty of Redpolls, Red Kite, Buzzard, a couple of Ravens and a Golden-ringed Dragonfly on the way up. Also, an Osprey at St Fillans end of Loch Ern #BirdingScotland

Back to running only one trap last night, 200 of 54 sp, but nothing exceptional. Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, Carcina quercana & Crassa unitella (as well as A.advenella) were nfy while a V-Pug was the freshest of the rest. #TeamMoth @teesbirds.bsky.social

Swallowtail Moth, Beautiful Hook-tip, Blackneck and Small Fan-foot were among 13 year ✅ last night. The final score was 162 of 51 sp. Two nfg micros, Teleiodes vulgella and Argyresthia cupressella, are both getting more common in VC66. #TeamMoth @teesbirds.bsky.social
