dont do this! it could result in caltrops in your possession all for cheaper and less directly tracable! this is an educational warning on what to avoid and not directions! these are dangerous and could pop tires!

How to make DIY caltrops

what you need:
*small sheets of tin (quantity depends on how much caltrops you want to make)
*permanent marker
*tin snips
pliers

step 2: mark where to cut
*use a permanent marker to draw out two triangles on either side of your tin sheet

Step 3: Cut along the lines
*use your tin snips to cut along the marked lines
*you should end up with a bow-like shape after

step 5: repeat step 2 to 4 as many times as you want

step 6: test your diy caltrops out
*throw them on a flag surface to test them out.
*no matter how or in what dorection you throw them, at least one of these spikes face up when they land.

step 4: bend the edges with pliers
*bend the pointed edges on one side at a 45-degree angle opposite each other.
*repeat the process with other side of metal

Cooperative "Neither Master", infolibertaire.net: a company that earns money on the back of the struggles

For more than 20 years, a group has managed a growing network of websites linked to punk culture and French-speaking left-wing and libertarian networks. Based in France, this group founded in 2008 the cooperative "Ni God ni maître" to ensure the financing of this network through the sale of T-shirts and other accessories on a dedicated online shop. The most important sites of the network are the French-language chat forum libertaire.net, and the French-language news site infolibertaire.net, but many other sites, including in other languages, are also part of it. The cooperative’s online shop is widely promoted on network sites, usually by an advertisement placed at the bottom of the page, and looks at a classic T-shirt shop, except that the symbols on the T-shirts are militant symbols. To justify this business, the cooperative claims that the main purpose of its shop is to return the money brought back by the shop to militant causes.

$In this article we would like to show that, contrary to what the cooperative claims, only a tiny fraction of the money earned by its shop is actually returned to militant causes. We want to demonstrate this because we believe that by dissimilaring this state of affairs, the cooperative is dishonesty incompatible with libertarian ideals, and earns money on the backs of the struggles. Since the cooperative does not publish a balance sheet of its finances, our demonstration can only be based on partial data, which we consider sufficient to reach a conclusion. These data are: Between 2019 and 2022, a cooperative administrator communicated on the technical support forum of their T-shirt supplier, Spreadshop, via the ndnm user (later renamed in nshirts). In addition to the pre-renamed username (nm for "Ni Dieu Ni Maître"), this is demonstrated by the fact that the designs of T-shirts that appear on the screens taken on the forum by this user correspond to the designs of T-shirts on sale on the cooperative's shop (in particular, this rabbit design on the forum corresponds to this rabbit design on the shop). In 2020, this administrator published information on the cooperative's sales of T-shirts on the forum. This information has subsequently been deleted, but is still$

available on an archived version of the page. This information suggests that in 2020, the cooperative sold 2400 T-shirts per month earning an average of EUR 877 per T-shirt, a gain of around EUR 250 000 per year.

According to the F.A.Q. of the cooperative’s shop, the main objective of the shop is to donate money to militant causes. Given that, according to our crude estimate, less than 1% of the shop’s earnings (and yet, our numbers only take into account the sale of T-shirts, but the shop sells other things) go back to militant causes, it seems dishonest to say that returning money to militant causes is the shop’s “main objective.”

We sent the content of this article to the cooperative two weeks before its publication, proposing to include its reaction in the article. We have not received an

answer from him. On the other hand, during these two weeks, five of the six links web.archive.org on which the article is based have become inaccessible, presumably at the request of the cooperative (it is indeed possible to request the deletion of pages archived on web.archive.org). We had planned the shot and saved screenshots of each of the pages that had become inaccessible, screenshots that you can consult in the 'References' section below.

If it turns out that our figures, unfortunately partial, are wrong, the cooperative will certainly be able to defend itself by publishing a balance sheet of its finances, or other transparency measures that seem appropriate to it.

The aim of this article, in addition to denouncing the practices of this cooperative, is to encourage anti-authoritarian, libertarian and anarchist comrades to avoid promoting the websites managed by the cooperative. Let us stop buying their T-shirts: let’s give money directly to the causes and organizations that are close to our hearts. Stop using libertaire.net and infolibertaire.net: let us create our own communication and information tools, without commercial targets.

Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States, owned more than 600 slaves during his adult life. Jefferson freed two slaves while he lived, and five others were freed after his death, including two of his children from his relationship with his slave (and sister-in-law) Sally Hemings. His other two children with Hemings were allowed to escape without pursuit. After his death, the rest of the slaves were sold to pay off his estate's debts.

Advertisement placed by Jefferson in the Virginia Gazette offering a reward to whoever returns his escaped slave, 1767.

Privately, one of Jefferson's reasons for not freeing more slaves was his considerable debt,[1] while his more public justification, expressed in his book Notes on the State of Virginia, was his fear that freeing enslaved people into American society would cause civil unrest between white people and former slaves.
