For my birthday I treated myself to a used Trogotronic C4, a new book about sound in giallo films, and a couple UHD’s of old favs that were finally on sale, and they all arrived on the same day albeit a couple days late for my actual bday. 🥳

Been chaotic over here for the last two months between two weekend tours & a work trip, so yesterday was the 1st time I managed to deadlift since Nov 10; I was stoked to discover I can still lift 95% of my PR! I hit 365 lbs for 1 clean & my lifetime PR is 385 lbs Programing to clear 405 lbs soon!
Hypertrophy OK/TX tour was great, got to see Richard Kamerman kill it every night, reconnected w/ geographically distant friends, visited hallowed ground like the Texas Chain Saw house & Screwed Up Records & Tapes, went to Buc-ee's & capped things off collaborating with Diego in Houston #harshnoise
fwiw I also purchased and listened to a ton of physical media this year, more than 60 new cds and cd-rs from small labels… but no surprises here in my streaming top 15, all perennials or acts I caught live this year or old favs with a new album
