he was sent home the 29th and we had to buy a bunch of meds that i only managed to give him one of them (and wrong) so we had to take him to another emergency vet bc of that... there we realized he was misdiagnosed and most of those meds were not useful for him anymore

the meds he is currently taking are these and he eats every other day but the vet told us that it's normal. it's a slow process to recovery (the nutribound has helped him the days he doesn't eat and we are running low but i have to ask the vet if we continue).

gonna post a bunch of pics of the visits, tests, meds and everything we had to do at the new vet where he is currently being treated for everything. i have so much shit i might post duplicates

anyways, at the new vet, he had to stay hospitalized for the night and we made a bunch of other tests. the same day we had the results and he was diagnosed with an acute anemia and after with a blood parasite that caused the other things.

those three meds are the ones that we couldnt use and one was vitamins but i gifted them to a lady who needed them for a dog she recued. i will be trying to find someone who needs them tho!

they took WAY too long to send the exams (the 27th bc i asked for them) and called my mom telling her that his results were bad and he needed to have an scan ASAP... for them, asap was the 29th. he was hospitalized during that day

we took thor to the emergency vet on the 23rd of may and had to take tests and put meds in him to make him feel a bit better.

i can finally update all the proof of my boy's emergency that you guys were sooooo kind to help me enormously with. you guys literally saved thor and even though the road to recover is long still, he is with me and i will be forever grateful 🧵

HE IS HOME! CONE AND TUBE FREE! i have to give him some meds and special food from tomorrow on and tomorrow we will know the results of the hemoparasite suspicion. he is purring so loud ❤️‍🩹😭

in that baby picture, he wasn't even mine. he was from a neighbor. he would often hang out in my home because they never really cared about him (and his brother). when he was like 2, his owners moved and left him behind... i rescued him and he became MY BOY.

i wanna fucking kms. i accidentally gave him a wrong dosis (because my mom confused me) and we brought him to the vet ER. new vet says he has renal issues and the liver and other issues were most probably caused by not eating. i don't know what to do anymore
