Another Saturday, another farmers market haul. Went downtown today and I found great local jewelry and a clothing vendor I haven't shopped in years. And shout-out the cheddar and herb biscuits from Pie Party bc these things are the best biscuit ever.
I really had to say "we don't hit people with spines" tonight to my oldest.
Post-op has been rough but my boys brought flowers "to help me feel better" after playing at the park 🥹
Everyone say hello to Christmas Tree (named by my oldest), the new jumping spider found by my 2 year old on our living room floor 😂 Now Dottie has a friend (in a separate home)
Now, some of you may see this and think "oh, Ashley, what were you doing spending 4 hours at the gym?" I wish. I'd probably be less tired from the gym. That's a 4 year olds birthday party at an indoor climbing place that put my HR in the aerobic range today 🫠 But the melon ball stoplights were 🤌

I started my first Book Nook tonight to clear my head and focus on literally anything else and spend time with my husband. I loved it. We made steps with booze and a cat.
We still talk about her around the house. She was the dog that got me through some of the darkest times in my life. I didn't expect such an innocent question to stir up these feelings but here we are. And I'm gonna sit in them for a bit because she was a great dog and I still miss her so much.
My oldest was sad at bedtime & I asked what was up. He said he wanted Puppy Nala. Nala was the best dog She lived 14 beautiful years & left us in 2023. We miss her lots He asked where she was. I told him about the rainbow bridge while we looked at her pictures. So naturally I'm sharing here too.

Idk if my old knees can handle GA tonight but we'll see. If I'm not posting tomorrow just know both knees exploded and my lower back disintegrated. Save me good sneakers with the arch support.
I'm OBSESSED with the Elmo cookies for our sons birthday. The baker just sent me a picture before she shipped them and this is ART.
Important update: I did the thing and, after 14 years waiting and searching, I may have finally found my next artist 🥹 The shop was sick, Sadie ruled, and the conversation was amazing. We came, we made friends, we supported the local community. 14/10 experience.
Neighborhood cat is the sweetest little critter. My oldest adores her.
My first ever attempt at fried catfish tacos and they went so fast this was the first picture I could get. Our youngest demolished them 🥹
