After waiting far too long, I'm completing the Emo Holy Trinity today.

The latest Umamusume update has put me in a very frustrating position where my Uma is actually too fast, and because I don't have the exact right skills she can't get into the right position to win.

Anyway, here's a video walking through. I'm not sure who I want to move into here yet, because any residents will mean I need to change the furniture and decorations around to boost their comfort levels, and I can't be bothered with that at the moment.

And then the back area, where the staff changing room and the office is. One thing I realised when making this from floor plans of the restaurant from the show, is that customers have to go through the staff changing area to get to the toilet, which doesn't seem like a good layout at all.

And here is the interior of the sandwich window, with the prep area and the counter to take orders. Had to move things around here to fit the landscape, which meant making it flush with the front face of the building instead of set back.

Next up is the main kitchen, with the big prep island in the middle, the cooking stations along the sides, Marcus's dessert station, the walk in cooler and the dishwasher station.

Turns out that The Bear is getting another season for some bizarre reason, so I decided to recreate the restaurant in Pokopia. Because of course I did. Here's the exterior with the sandwich window, and the main restaurant floor with the bar.

And here's some examples of the type of the type of science we can do with this information. Firstly, we can show that bars in galaxies are noticably redder than their disks. Second we have a galaxy with IFU spectra, and we can see how the emission from star forming regions lines up with the arms.

The model works for a very wide range of disk galaxy morphologies, from strongly barred galaxies to grand spirals and even ring galaxies.

We used citizen science labels from Galaxy Zoo 3D (www.zooniverse.org/projects/klm...) and updated imaging from DESI to train a NN to detect spiral arms and bars in ~600k disk galaxies. This is almost 100x more objects than in the training sample, and will be easily updated to larger datasets.

In general I really like my gym. This, however, infuriates me. (The benches aren't aligned with the ceiling tiles, if you can't tell immediately.)
