"Dems are only behind in the Arizona early vote by 2%" doesn't sound like a particularly impressive statistic until you realize that Republicans have a heated multi-way governor primary, and Dems have, uh, the Superintendent of Public Instruction
The marquee races of the last 4 cycles. Actual margins were Trump+13, Grassley+12, Trump+8, and Reynolds+3

What does it say about the mood of Democratic voters that moderate Jake Auchincloss felt the need to poll his district for proof that he's safely ahead of his progressive challenger, who has $700 on hand www.wpri.com/news/electio...
Siffert would be the first nonbinary Assemblymember if they hold their lead in the recount. And while they're not endorsed by DSA, they were clearly the left's choice here. If you're wondering about WFP, they backed the third place finisher.
Meanwhile Tina Smith said this, and a million brain dead boomers still think she was a downgrade
Moderate AZ-04 incumbent Greg Stanton released a late June poll showing him leading progressive challenger Kai Newkirk 56-23. Newkirk released an early July poll showing Stanton up only 46-38. No idea how close this race winds up being, but Newkirk raised <$150K total. Either result would be crazy.
I've now updated my question from "did you even read the book you're talking about?" to "have you read anything ever?" www.clevelandjewishnews.com/jns/schumer-...

Advice to candidates: if a consultant ever tells you the reason they want to work with you is because you're white, don't hire them www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/09...
So weird that a consultant like Smith, who spends her time immersed in right-wing media and only wanted McMorrow as client because she was white and Christian, would utterly misjudge how the primary electorate would react to naked Islamaphopbia www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/09...
Denver counted a couple thousand ballots today report they have fewer than 200 to go. Arapahoe would be lucky to have 10. The more-or-less final margin is Kiros 53.2% - DeGette 39.8%

Oh, look, Lee Smith, bestselling author and columnist for Tablet Magazine, has an analysis of the New York election results. I sure am excited to see what normal and not at all deranged thoughts he has combatantisemitism.org/special-feat...
This is the LA DSA slate. Three candidates won outright, one lost outright, and two are headed to runoffs
I don't think Diana DeGette really understands the headspace voters are in right now coloradonewsline.com/2026/06/20/d...
They got one actual expert involved and she...appears to not be familiar with the race? Black voters were 1/4 of the electorate, Darializa campaigned hard for them, and they split roughly evenly. She absolutely needed Black voters.
I can't believe how low we've fallen that an election had to be about ideology
