Sometimes you just need to add a little whimsy to your fridge
Book 44 (ebook): Loving a Vampire is Total Chaos by Aura Hayes I did enjoy this book and plan to read the next one but I do think it could have been edited a little more, missing words or duplicate words, etc.
I would be one of the 194 w/o power. It’s been out since 4:30 in the afternoon. I’m only complaining because sometimes when you complain about things they get fixed. 😂 I don’t know if my fridge food will still be okay since it’s so hot but hopefully it comes back on soon so my freezer food is ok.
Four books I’ve read in 2026 I can’t stop thinking about:
Little man was hiding under one of my cabinets in my new apartment. He’s finally out exploring now. This is my first move with him so hopefully he adjusts well.
I only read 3 books last month because of life but I enjoyed all three of them so much!
I stumbled across the cat ears headband (similar to the 22 music video) that I wore to the eras tour so I will be wearing them the rest of the night as I continue to declutter/pack just like this meme.
Book 43 (ebook): Role Model by Rachel Reid I don’t even know what to say. I really loved this one. I’m hoping that when HR season 2 comes out we get to see all these stories like we got to see Kip and Scott’s in S1.
I just wanna know what I have done and/or searched for that my targeted ads think I’m rich enough to afford this. 😂
I got Gilbert 5 years ago today and I wanted to recreate the first photo I took of him but he’s not very fond of having his picture taken. 😂 He still likes that corner of my bed though.
Book 42 (physical book): The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood This was a reread and I loved it just as much as the first time I read it. I was kind of worried I wouldn’t… now I’m worried the movie won’t live up to the book. 😅 Hopefully, my reading slump is over because I read this rather quickly.
Book 41 (ebook): Barbarian Lover by Ruby Dixon I’ve been in a kind of reading slump still but I finally finished another book! Yay! I enjoyed this one in the series! I think I liked it more than the last one. The next story sounds intriguing too.
This is the picture I submitted of my cat on an apartment application… they better not say no to this cute little face. 🙂↔️
My car insurance was quite a bit less than I saved for this time around so I used some of the left over to preorder the B&N exclusive of this. Tbh, I think I like the cover of the standard edition more but I wanted the extra content. 😆
I’m a day late but my reading wrap up for June! My fav was probably Common Goal. If Trick hadn’t felt so repetitive and didn’t use the words orb and digit constantly it probably would have also been a favorite.
Book 40 (ebook): Common Goal by Rachel Reid I absolutely adored this one so very much! But I don’t think that’s surprising because I’ve loved them all so far. I can’t wait to read the next two. I’ve seen a lot of good things about them.
I’m trying to find a place to move and I can’t find many reviews for the only apartment complex that has gotten back to me so I’m asking the subreddit for my area and this is the only response I’ve gotten so far. 🤣
Book 39 (ebook): Trick by Natalia Jaster I read this after some bookstagramers recommended it as fitting the court jester/princess edit vibes. Iykyk I flew through first half but it started to feel repetitive and I read the 2nd half in between other books. The author likes to say orbs a lot.
Book 38 (audiobook): Queer & Christian by Brandan Robertson I’m not a Christian anymore but I listened to this more for research purposes if I was ever outed as bi to some people in my family. At this point I don’t plan on telling anyone because I forget the internet is safer and kinder than irl
Book 37 (ebook): A Gentleman’s Gentleman by TJ Alexander I really enjoyed this book. I think I’m in a reading funk/slump because it took me awhile to read even though I was enjoying it.
Have you ever just been so tired common sense flies out the window? 😅
Book 36 (ebook): The Long Con by Jenna Voris I was so excited to read this but I was so bored. I skimmed the last half so idk if I can even count it as fully reading it. It might be a me problem but I just ended up not liking the story or the characters. Not for me but hopefully for someone else.
It’s so cute and I loved putting it together!! Lego sets are so expensive though so it won’t be a hobby I can do all the time. I do have the tuxedo cat set I bought with this one I can put together one day too.
I took tomorrow off work just for fun so I’m going to stay up tonight and put this Lego set I’ve had for over a year together and if I have fun I’m going to buy the Deku Tree set before it officially retires.
I know this is probably a standard mass email but why am I being called out for only watching shows on my phone hbo??!!!???!!? 😒
Book 35 (ebook): Tough Guy by Rachel Reid I enjoyed this one too! Not quite as much as the first two but still so good! My goal is to finish the series before season 2 of the show comes out.
