I agree with your push-back! Good point. I was thinking (but didn't say clearly!) of the hashtag as used on Twitter, which AI agrees (again, FWIW...) has the meaning I intended. But you're right too!
The `emacs` vs `vim` debate is finish, because at this point if you use either one, you have more in common with the other person than with those young ‘uns who don’t know what either of them are. (Also, the answer is vim.)
You think -- or at least hope -- that the best product will win because of social media and reviews and Product-Led Growth and etc.. But Microsoft Teams is the most popular video conferencing software, and I'll bet the majority of their users don't prefer Teams to the competition. (1/4)
