Reactive balance problems persist in people w/ mild TBI after injury. Aspects of responses to balance perturbations differ between people w/ acute, sub-acute, and chronic symptoms. This clinical trial showed that neck muscle vibration (NMV) post-stroke can provide lasting improvements in spatial neglect and activities of daily living that are on par with standard neglect therapy. NMV may be promising in early rehab due to its passive nature. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41587874/

2025 Impact Factors were recently released, and we're excited to announce that #Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair (NNR)'s Impact Factor increased to 4.0! This places the journal within the top 5% of rehabilitation journals and within the top 25% of journals in clinical neurology.

The Wolf Motor Function Test (WMFT) is widely used in #stroke studies, but its length limits use in the clinic.
