IDW Go-Bots issue 4s main cover is a reference to the first page of Daredevil: The Man Without Fear #5 with Turbo having the same pose as Daredevil.

Last is Crasher who uses the body of Cybertron Override and the head of Cybertron Defense Red Alert, she is based on her series 1 color scheme. In the show she realizes that Cy-Kill is going to lose she abandons him and tries to take over the Renegades before being imprisoned.

Second one is Cop-Tur who uses the body of Cybertron Evac and the head of Shattershot, it is based on his Machine Robo Best 5 Gyro Robo design. In the show Cop-Tur remembers his past, turns against Cy-Kill and the Renegades although he never joins the Guardians but runs instead.

First one was Cy-Kill which uses the body of Cybertron Crumplezone and the head of Cybertron Vector Prime. It is based on his Series 2 recolor. After the events of Sorium Cy-Kill is brought back to life and leads the Renegades until he was permanently killed by Leader-1.

The Guardian Hitch Hiker was given a design for the Fun Publications Guardian mural with it being a digital recolor of the Action Master Omega Spreem.

The Renegade Power Marcher Quick Step was given a design for the Fun Publications Renegade mural with it being a digital recolor of the Grimlock Hero Mashers, likely in reference to the fact the original Quick Step couldn't transform.

It seems like Nemesis (the unreleased power warrior recolor of Land Commander 5) was quite far along in development before it's cancellation as it was seen in multiple magazines and advertisements including the Tonka 1986 catalog used to promote the final year of Gobots toys.

Machine Robo 1982 was a project made for third party promotional marketing like the TV Land magazine in order to maintain a consistent. 82 had the Machine Robo be piloted by a Romulan named Takeru Akiba in order to protect their former home Earth from the Dogra.

Turbo uses the body of Cybertron Hot Shot and the head of Cybertron Clocker. The design is inspired by the color scheme of the Turbo released with the Staks Transporter multipack. By the time of Gobotron, Turbo has matured to the point of being the co-leader of the Guardians.

This silver version of Hans-Cuff that transforms the toy from a cop car to a regular civilian vehicle is one of the rarer alt color schemes with it being exclusive to an Australian only multipack and replaced in later releases of said multipack by a regular version of Fitor.
