There is an existing scales for authoritarianism defined Altemeyer. There is the right-wing authoritarian scale which measures authoritarian submission, authoritarian aggression, and conventionalism. There is also the social dominance orientation scale. (Leaders and followers). Some academics, including a guy from FIRE, decided to make up a new scale for left-wing authoritarianism which measures anti-hierarchical aggression, anti-conventionalism, and top-down censorship. I do not think it is reasonable to refer to opposition to hierarchies, even to an unreasonable degree to be authoritarian. And anti-conventionalism is obviously the opposite of conventionalism, and none of the questions for the LWA scale asks if you want to make people live a certain way. Top-down censorship could be considered authoritarian, but the correlations between the first two and tdc are not very strong for the questions on the scale.
