I don’t want to dunk on individuals here, but it’s worth being clear from a procedural perspective: Petition debates are symbolic and don’t go to a vote, so this would not disapprove the code - unlike a motion tabled by an MP or lead to that motion being given parliamentary time.
meanwhile on the other place… This tweet, from a *labour* activist is remarkable in two whole different ways: 1. It suggests violence is a reasonable outcome of using the ‘wrong’ space 2. It misunderstands the fact that the EIA’s ‘risk of violence’ referred to here is *if using birth sex spaces*
