I need daily encouragement to draw
I tried to put together different versions of the armor (I assume different ranks) into one. Do they make their own armor or do they scavenge off dead soldiers?
And here I am. Flipping through these now I realize I improved really fast for some reason after joining the military. Here's to me and may everyone create what they love with success 🫰
2025/10/28 - 2025/11/16 Then I joined the military, and forced to draw traditionally (which I never did before, surprisingly) It was a huge step back, I re-learned everything from scratch. But it did improve how I drew, I don't rely much on the undo button now, more focused on the shapes and sketch
2025/9/1 And with no time half a year went past, I learned more about anatomy and proportions(but still needed plenty of practice) and went back to my roots to draw signalis
2025/3/29 This is where I decided to take commissions, I was confident(at the time) enough that I could start expanding on what I draw. Another reason is I ran out of ideas to draw about signalis ==
2025/1/7 - 2025/1/24 Then Arcane season 2 came out, and I had an unhealthy obsession with how good it looks. I can still tell which part of which episode it belongs from a screenshot. I watched it sooo many times. And it shows, my understanding for colors and anatomy improved vastly (I think)
2024/11/3 Then I started posting on twitter, this was my most liked post even til now. I didn't know what possessed my hand back then to create a piece like this. It still looks good with just blocks of color. I remember staring at it everyday thinking "how am I ever gonna surpass this?"
2024/9/19 Back then I spent most of the day practicing, drawing nonstop without pressure. I remember seeing the sunrise after finishing this one. At the time I was still learning the lore of signalis, watching every hour long video possible. And I saw where Elster said "It's hard to look at her."
2024/8/3 I was so in love with Bluecho4's fanfic "Where laments the bound and bargained soul", that I wanted to draw this scene. However I had no experience with proportions, background and coloring at the time(not that I have any experience on anything back then). But it still holds a special place
2024/7/29 My first few posts on reddit. And the first that got over 1k I had to use tons of references just to get the pose right. Sad to admit I did trace Elsters left arm, I couldn't get it right for some reason back then.
I was wrong, the NEXT weekend will be my last good one, then there'll be another mission
Tried to recreate what I saw this week Had to spend the night on the mountains, we were waiting under a shed for transport it was pitch black except the sky, helicopter lights decorated the distance
Tomorrow is my birthday, but I don't want to celebrate while I'm back at base Can everyone act as if today is my birthday? 🥺
