One of my salt fired pieces. I was quite disappointed with the effect on this one. It essentially gave a transparent glaze and that’s all. I was hoping for a little more variation of colouring based on the salts. So it’ll probably go back in at some point. #ceramics #porcelain #vase #pottery

Cone set up: You don’t want them to bend and land on each other so stack low to high, left to right. One cone below your temperature, the temperature you want to achieve and a higher temperature. Ensure they aren’t too straight or too leant over as it will affect results. #ceramics #cones #tip
