Dark Arches, an ambient tin off the shelf at Sainsbury admittedly but its not bad at all, straddling the stout/IPA thing quite well. Good enough.

Oat so Sureshot by, you've guessed it, Sureshot. Big, full, hoppy and yet still sharp, crisp and refreshing. Also nearly 7%. Just everything good about craft beer in a glass. Terrific.

Tortoiseshell Glasses by Indie Rabble. Its bright and super-refreshing with good depth and a nice bitter back end. Good one.
#BskyBeer

Piasa by Tartarus Brewing. At 8% it sits in that sweet spot of being a beast of a stout without ending the night. Its black, slightly sweet with a roasted coffee bitterness. Its ace.
#BskyBeer

Brain Science. Its a full bodied banger from Indie Rabble and Siren I think. Either way: yum.
#BskyBeer

Sea of Stars by Track. I've never had a bad Track beer. Not once. This is gorgeous.
#BskyBeer

My Lind of Party from Indie Rabble. I guess the adjunct hit of soft raspberries and a ripple of vanilla won't be for everyone but I love it. Its soft and pillowy and delicious. Great beer.
#BskyBeer

Magnetic Lobster by Indie Rabble. Its a big deep and rich Westie with great balance and a big whack of marmalade and pine. 6.8% of pure yummyness.
#BskyBeer

Hoffbrau Dunkel. Malty and sweetness on the nose carries through but not as much as hoped and it ends up letting the carbonation take over. Decent but unremarkable.
#BskyBeer

Tasman, a collab Westie from Elusive with help from Two Flints and Hop Burns & Black. Its nicely rounded but not as piney as I'd like.
#BskyBeer

Hazy Pale by Rebellion. Its as unremarkable as the name would suggest but provides the cool down refreshment asked of it.
#BskyBeer

Neal Gets Things Done from Verdant. Its heady and deep with the sweetness offset beautifully with a rounded hoppy hit. Terrific beer.

Another weekend draws to a close and what better way to see it off than 2 super bright Pales from DEYA. Boost, a 4% session beer still packing a crushable punch and Something Good 23, a refreshing and zippy IPA. Gotta love DEYA.
#BskyBeer

Quench from Elusive Brewing. I get under-ripe mango but the whisper is neither memorable nor lasting. It ends up being a rather soulless Pale that doesnt quite deliver. Sorry guys.
#BskyBeer

Trinken from Drop Project. An absolutely textbook kellerbier doing exactly what's needed on this sultry Saturday afternoon.
#BskyBeer

Possibly one of the most complete Stouts I've ever had. Lend Me Some by Pomona Island is all burnt treacle and sugar'd coffee. Unbelievably its only 6.5% but could easily be double that. God knows how they do it but its bloody brilliant.

A quick stop in Delphic taproom and 2 of the dinkiest 3rds you're ever likely to see. Im Made of Wax, Larry a cracking, boozy DDH IPA and Sorry, Wrong Pocket a sweet and juicy IPA. Good job guys.
#BskyBeer

Couple of majestic DEYA beers to round off a curry in Southall. Pro tip - Google Haleema unless you like spicy wallpaper paste.
Into the Haze, good as always and a collab with Garage - Tastes Like How the Label Looks, correct, if the label looks beautifully juicy. Gotta love DEYA....

Lightbulb by Verdant. In Winchester. In the sunshine. With fish tacos! My goodness, I'm a lucky boy. 😁
#BskyBeer

Simpatico at the Unity Brewing taproom. A nice bright Pale you could happily drink all night.
#BskyBeer

Future You, a very solid cask Pale by Verdant. Like the best version of the genre. Good job guys.
#BskyBeer

Rivers of Green from Pollys. Whatever it is that Pollys put in the beer to identify it as quintessentially a Pollys beer is missing in this? Probably to get it to the RRP. Its a decent but unremarkable Pale.
#BskyBeer

Even More Faith by Northern Monk. For an ambient tin its pretty good. Thats Waitrose for you.
#BskyBeer

Cafe Racer. Its a really good coffee porter with the ABV to hold it together.
#BskyBeer

Savage by Drop Project on cask. Mellow and soft. A great session option.
#BskyBeer

Party Horse, a 6.4% collab Westie from Indie Rabble abd Vibrant Forest. Indie turn out absolutely banging Westies and the guys down in the New Forest know what beer should be so, unsurprisingly, this is terrific.
#BskyBeer

Thinks look pretty serious for Djokovic. Thats a nasty injury.

75k on the bike followed by a fuck off pannini and Siera Nevada Pale. Ive died and gone to heaven.
#BskyBeer

Magnetic Lobster by Indie Rabble. Another terrific Westie from these guys. Just superbly balanced without pulling its punches. Banging.
