Karkat, after seeing Sollux being KO'd, the object that would've revived the Troll race blew up and Kanaya (presumably) and Feferi dying due to Eridan decided to betray them, discovering that Gamzee's true personality is a murderous lunatic. All in all, not a good day.

Orthros beat my ass in the first few attempts until I remember his entire gimmick. After that, it was easy. Of course, this makes sense since one of the main things of #BravelyDefault is that bosses are generally more puzzle-orientated, especially genuine legit bosses like Orthros here.

A fire and ice-themed two-headed canine that's basically the Fiend of Wind. Confused? Well, it's probably association with the desert bringing heat or cold depending on the time of the day.

Orthos' gimmick is using a team-wide fire and ice attack before doing a big damaging non-elemental team-wide move called Blazzard. You have to hit the heads of the opposing element to prevent that. He also has battle items of fire and ice if you have a Thief, so do that if you want to cut the first short.
