I'm not gay as in sleeps with men, but gay as in I say this to myself at 2AM.
Today, I finished Pirate Latitudes after attempting to read it many times since 2009. It was just okay. Crichton doesn't always make magic.
Theatre Saint-Simeon? You mean the Theatres des Vamipres. Arnault? You mean Armand. Victor and Francoise? You mean Louis and Claudia. Possibly, Lestat and Gabrielle. This book is just Anne Rice fanfic, and I don't have a problem with that.
I love movies this old because I get to play my favorite game, "Hey, it's that guy/lady who's in stuff!"
I don't know who this is, but it isn't Marius de Romanus. Keeping Those Who Must Be Kept isn't a job to him. It's his calling & burden because he believes he's the only one who can. Marius is driven by his ego & pride as Romans were so often. He would've never let Akasha and Enkil burn.
I know the message is hateful, but it kind of eats. I wish USA equaled Fag Nation.
Post yourself in your twink era ✨ This is senior year of high school. I don't think I was ever a twink in anyone's estimation.
I can't wait for the current trend of cartoon covers to end. Why do adults want to infantilize themselves so much? What distinguishes these books from children's novels? These are romance examples, but the trend is not limited to romance.
I love dumb errors like this. I'm watching A Place Called Home for some cheap melodrama, and I could be wrong, but I don't think they had bottled water in 50's Australia.
If you told 13 year old me, reading The Vampire Armand, that there'd be a Vampire Chronicles TV show and that I'd be bored watching it, I wouldn't have believed you. But this show is so boring. Knowing the material they have to work with, there's no excuse.
"Why do you do everything yourself?" They ask me. Me asking one person for one things and recieves nothing but excuses why they can't do the thing:
You mean to tell me Brandon Sklenar and I are the same age and the same gender? That's completely unfair.
This podcast is dangerous. It is the only reason I own a copy of Heaven by Bobbi Smith 🤣 I'm a suckered for the mustache & mullet combo.
I don't read a lot of modern historical romance, and Sarah MacLean reinforces why. This read like an imitation of what you'd expect an HR to be.
Fire on the Mountain also happens to be the title of a very good MM romance.
