These are the dates 77 people were taken by ICE agents upon their release from the SLO County jail in 2026 so far. Sun, 7/26 @ 10 am @ Hwy 1 and Kansas Avenue, site of our county jail & these abductions. Tues, 7/28 @8:30 am @ the County Government Center, site of facilitation of these abductions.

SLO County Board of Supervisors just voted to have ICE have to show judicial warrants to allow for transfers at the jail and to not allow commandeering of the jail. Three ICE agents came today and had to roll on through because volunteers were there. Keep on showing up and speaking out!

Our ICE agents in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties wait inside the lobby with families waiting for their loved ones to be released. On December 14 they breached into the secure portion of the jail to tase a person being released. We have been protesting this. They assaulted protesters.

Then our sheriff put the video the ICE agent took of me and other protesters using colorful gestures and language on all his socials. This was after we witnessed the ICE agents tase a guy being released from the jail. Our sheriff basically works for this guy. Hope Santa Barbara PD does better.
I was assaulted by ICE in the San Luis Obispo Jail for standing holding a sign. I called 911 from the jail. The sheriff did not come next door to his jail to take my report. Then the sheriff posted the video that the ICE agents took of us on his socials and said protesters will be arrested, not ICE.
