I met the most amazing tree on the grounds of the Norman Rockwell Museum. Still carrying the feels from seeing Rockwell's paintings, drawings in person. The detail, the scale, the feelings while looking into the depths of some of his portraits, lesser known paintings.
Planted this container garden in memory of our dog Zoey. She was the sweetest, gentlest girl (Except if you were clipping her nails) and I love how this little memory garden is thriving. We set it over her grave and she's buried by her two shih tzu brothers Carson and Bailey. ❤️

dreary day... will be continuing my household 'spring declutter/clear out' in our home library. Yesterday I completed 2 1/2 book cases; filled 6 Aldis shopping bags (the reusable ones) w/ donation books. Close to 50 books heading out (to make room for about 100 'new' books) 😐 #bookaddiction
Beltane baking: Banana Dandelion bread w/ chopped freeze dried strawberries. Dandelion fritters after I finish baking the bread. I gathered them from our meadow & left loads more for the bees. Yesterday I made a jar of spring bitters: dandelions, plantain, dead nettle, cleavers, honey, AC vinegar.

Back before the new year had arrived I set a reading goal for 2026. I'm fitting in small slices of time to just sit and read for a bit. I have 3 books going rn; all different genres: folk horror, spicy dragon related fantasy, mystery. I'm 8 books toward my goal. My reading muscles are coming back.
Doing a spring clear-out. Found something from my 90s era that still fits...lol. I loved these earrings- wore them constantly. I assumed they were lost forever until I found a big bag of old jewellry from the 80s/90s. I went thru it and found these beauties. And yes. I've worn them every day since.
Took this pic 2 years ago... our side yard isn't quite as lush rn. But forsythia is full bloom, daffodills everywhere. Cherry tree will bloom in a week or so. As many of our neighbors take down trees in their yards 😑. I'm grateful for our old timers; witnesses to so much change around here.

the spider is so huge I should have taken it off... but weaving a web of treats for my valentine required spider assistance. luckily the break was just thespider popping off the ring part. I'm gonna string her from some ribbon and wear her as a pendant.
Valentine Bark. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, freeze-dried strawberries & cherries (crushed) and red decorating sugar. Broke my spider ring cutting this into pieces... but spider can be a necklace now🕷️
