An actual gay with a husband + a two cats named #VeronicaMeows and #StephanieMeows, living in a map hole near Austin, TX. Regional potato chip fan. Venn diagram enthusiast. I talk about music, movies, tv, pop culture, and politics.
The whole Slayyyter album gives me that Kool Aid man bursting through a wall feeling like Von Dutch. And her lyrics are just 😘🤌
Wild that the Knicks offensive game was essentially just two players.
Seeing a lot of ref blaming on my timeline…is that who’s missing all those shots? 🤔 #NBAFinals
The (fully remote) company I work for is based in NYC so I've been on camera wearing the most obnoxious Spurs hat all week.
Always interesting to see people's mixed reviews of the #ACLFest (or any festival) lineup. Festivals are so tricky because the loyal, "I've gone every year since X," folks will inevitably begin to age out. In terms of non-headliners I'm excited that Rochelle Jordan and Underscores made the cut.
Next week is trying to trick me into going to concerts almost every damn night. I already have tickets to the shows with checkmarks but really feeling like I can’t miss Gelli Haha, which would have me out 3 nights in a row…as a middle aged man.
Bro, shut the fuck up. The current state of Internet culture is so damn annoying.
Tbf if you switch to the single ticket view you can buy one for the bargain price of $477.
Been checking the listing for Slayyyter tickets at Emo’s basically every day since the on sale. They sold out super quick and I missed out but I’m hoping for a promoter hold to release more. In the meantime, some asshole(s) have resale tickets listed for over $600. 🫠
It's funny how the local "alt rock" station will play these songs and then unironically play a bumper that says: New. Local. Alternative. [Station Name.] Shoutout to Shirley Manson for being THE female voice in a 10 song cluster.
Had quite a fruitful #RSD26. I think I’m most psyched about the Art of Noise re-issue but all good stuff that I was very lucky to snag.
I just realized the real reason Amazon is deprecating my old Gen 4 Kindle is because it can no longer support their damn ads network.
I just went back and fully read the email they sent (which I previously only skimmed) and I am SO annoyed. Feels like this shit should be illegal but yeah starting next month I won't be able to download anything new onto the device, which pretty much renders it useless.
I was triggered by this meme I saw on Reddit haha We didn’t even have Blockbuster in Maine in 1996.
The home team (Longhorns) is really fucking up my Men’s #MarchMadness bracket in a big way.
Adding this for context and so other people over the age of 30 can relate/understand.
Y'all...did Cheer Up Charlies SERIOUSLY get locked out of their venue for non-payment of rent RIGHT when #SXSW is gearing up?! Please say psych. www.instagram.com/p/DVwUQKzEbV...
I could never put my finger on why I never wanted to go to Terry Black's Barbecue...now I never need to go. Imagine posing for a photo with this piece of human beef jerky?!
I’m so psyched, I bought a signed copy of INJI’s album, “Superlame,” on vinyl and somehow I ended up with one of the three copies that comes with free entry to her shows for life!
Went to the Austin Film Society Cinema to see Train Dreams followed by a Q&A with the Director and Co-Writer tonight. I really liked the film at home on Netflix but I LOVED it in the theater. It was also in a different aspect ratio for some reason. The end made me cry. So moving.
We’ve transitioned from putting concert tickets on a credit card to needing a personal loan to pay for concert tickets.

Imagine how the audience would lose their damn minds if you hit your jump at the same point these fireworks hit?
Somehow I missed the news that the Chicago Bears are moving to Gary, Indiana. What in the actual fuck?! When you search Gary, Indiana on Google Maps this is the first photo that comes up haha
Seeing a photo of Trump's Gestapo agents, surrounded by unmarked cars, dog piling on a person at our local Costco has me at a loss for words. To say I hate what's happening in this country right now is an understatement.
