Rabbit, Rabbit! (Cat, Cat!?) Happy 1st August/Lunasadh/Lammas/Imbolc/Candlemas! Happy Caturday!
Nothing like finding out the painful way that a wasp nest is the reason your rain gauge is giving wonky readings. Ow.
They said we were going to get some downpours & they were right! That read .06 just 1 hr 20 mins ago!
Maks isn’t as fond of the sound of rain on a metal roof as I am. Based on the radar, he’s going to be there for a bit.
We don’t usually see each other’s headers. Here’s mine. Quote post with yours (if you feel like it).
Sev has disappeared. I can’t find him anywhere! Should I be worried? 😆
This is a cat checkpoint: relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone.
Outlook can be so amusing. It thinks I'll not get another email today, even though it's not yet noon.
Had to chase a woodpecker off the siding. Nah, it’s not pollen-y out there!
Aw. My sister posted this on FB last night. She doesn't mention which book, but I'm assuming *cough* she means my Ogre's Assistant series. If so, this is the book she read: mybook.to/StressedPaper mybook.to/StressedEbook
I’ve said goodbye to too many over the years. This is Yuri, my purrball. We lost him in January.
Isn’t he purty? Mrs. Cardinal is undoubtedly sitting on eggs…they have a nest in one of the shrubs next to the driveway & take turns eating.
From my FB memories. @jennyschwartz.bsky.social it's right, isn't it?!?
Spring has *achoo* sprung in the *cough* mountains! (Hard to see in the bright sunshine but that’s a dogwood in flower.)
'Tis the day the sun crosses the equator, so Happy Equinox, Everyone!
Welcome to spring in Georgia. Thankfully the ground is warm enough it won’t stick but sure is pretty!
From my FB feed this morning. Hubby & I were talking about this last night as gas was 30 cents higher per gallon yesterday than last week.
I love living in the woods…except for this time of year. 30 minutes of using the leaf blower, then around 8 hours of scooting on my butt, picking out leaves, seeds, and twigs that are stuck between the stones just to clear the paths. Thankfully it’s still too early to work on the beds.
