Quiet. Unassuming. Understated. A very competent pie. No frills or bells and whistles but what it does, it does very well. Much like Harry Wilson who brought me joy this weekend, this pie has given me the va va voom to attack another day of pharmacy life with my usual joie de vivre. 8/10.
Mince pie paratha from bundabust in Leeds. Good fruitiness and doughy bread. Gave me some spicy burps but that’s par for the course the course. 8/10 not at all bad but it’s made my face hot.
Well what have we here? It’s been a little while since I got a new pie in but these were a little delight. Wasn’t sure about it initially but it made me feel things. FEELINGS. If this were an FPL player it would be Lundstram of four seasons against or whenever it was I don’t remember. 8/10.
Pie 11. I can absolutely T the D in this pie it was excellent. Almost like sticky toffee mince pie with a great pastry. This pie is just fractionally below the Waitrose limoncello one (the Haaland of pies). 9/10 the Gabriel of this years mince pies .
Pie 10. Sainos T the D. I certainly can T that D and it does not compare favourably to either Waitrose or Marks. An average pie; decent pastry, decent fruit, prob 3-4mm of empty space in the one I tried which is a big detractor. Overall 5/10 if this was an FPL player it’d be Wirtz.
