It was hot. We spent the day in the cement pond then went to #LasGloriasGrill for #margaritas.
I will never understand why Turner the Gray Cat asks me to pet her but then takes a massive CHOMP of my hand. She is a mighty odd beast.
Turner the Gray Cat returned this morning at 3 am. She left during the fireworks on the 4th and had us worried. She is home now and very hungry.
We went to Laughlin and Las Vegas for 4 days. Turner the Gray Cat was not amused.
Today both Turner the Gray Cat and I are missing Hooch the Basset. 💔😭 She is sleeping on his bed which we still can't bring ourselves to put away after 2 months.

Turner the Gray Cat is feeling her oats this morning. She was threatening to scratch the furniture if she wasn't let out. Mind you we have a doggie door (cat flap).
I would love to clean the house but I cannot. Turner the Gray Cat has decided she needs to sleep on my lap.
Turner the Gray Cat is just laying there snoozing and shedding ALL her hair. Heaven forbid she let us brush her.
We went ahead and turned on the a/c. I am not happy about turning it on this early.

Our new young neighbors gave us a loaf of homemade sourdough. We made BLT'S w/ avocado on the bread for dinner tonight and it was AMAZING.

We found a sweet little #NoKings rally in the Encanto neighborhood. There were several hundred and we came home before the heat kicked in.
