He clearly has a good baseball IQ, and made significant adjustments, which has resulted in him being the second best player in all of baseball this season (at the all-star break). If he keeps this elite production up, it's going to be brutal thinking about what could have been in Flushing.
Sure, Luna Park is in the background, but the calisthenics area on the beach in Coney Island is my favorite amusement. #FitnessSky
Huzzah! 1 rep max PR alert. Bodyweight PLUS 112 lbs (42 lbs weighted vest + 1 50 lbs kb + 1 20 lbs kb). #FitnessSky
🎶Working out in the hot sun, I fought failure, and failure won🎶 #FitnessSky
This was the best that92 lbs weighted chin ups have felt thus far. I think it's time to up the volume! #FitnessSky
100 lbs walking lunges. My quads are getting noticeably more muscular, which has been a 2026 goal of mine. #FitnessSky
I'm building a strong core in the Big Apple. These dragon flag pullovers are excruciating to do for reps (3x12). My butt and lower back never touch the ground. Slow and steady. #FitnessSky
Happy #Caturday to all the cats who patiently put up with the dogs in their lives!
The Mets may never win another game in 2026, but headlines like this one sum up the reason they're my New York baseball club, and why the Yankees will always be the "Evil Empire"
A lil freestyle on the pull up bar as a warmup/exercise snack #FitnessSky
TBT to 1991, when I won a recipe contest with my pancake sandwiches, and was featured in a kids' cookbook.
My new PR for reps in a set is 4 weighted pull ups @ 60 lbs. That's a whopping total of ≈214 lbs lifted each rep (I weigh 146, and a pull up is roughly 95% of bodyweight). My 1RM of weighted pull ups is 80 lbs, which I'll work to improve upon next. #FitnessSky
Me: I feel like taking it easier today, I'll just do a bodyweight only workout... Me (after the workout): I always underestimate the fact that bodyweight workouts are often the most exerting... #FitnessSky
Yesterday was definitely false spring, but I'm not complaining. I got to enjoy a warm sunny afternoon on the roof, practicing dragon flags. I'm holding these for at least 45 seconds each set. #FitnessSky
Shoveling the snow off the roof was my warmup for today's leg day session. #FitnessSky
Yesterday's session featuring 5 sets of 12 weighted vest dips (45 lbs vest) #FitnessSky
Bicep and back day: -Dropset: 5x6 weighted vest pull ups (45 lbs) + 3x12 bodyweight pull ups -10 db bicep curls (30 lbs dbs) -8 floor lying skull crushers (30 lbs dbs) -12 floor lying kb pullovers (50 lbs) #FitnessSky
Today was my "I hate Cr*ssFit, but this workout's inspired by Cr*ssFit" day: -6x20 push ups + 20 squat jumps (no rest btwn exercises) -5x10 toes to bar + 10 devils press (30 lbs dbs) #FitnessSky
It was life changing then and still one of the most essential for me now.
Wall walking push ups...Good for the full body, not so great for the paint...#FitnessSky
An effective, but excruciating push day superset: 20 db push ups & 10 db thrusters (using 30 lbs weights). This combo is great for both strength training & muscular endurance. Either a 10 min EMOM (1st minute 20 push ups, 2nd minute 10 thrusters), or 5 sets w/ no rest btwn exercises. #FitnessSky
In my expose of How to Write Effective Headlines 101, this one gets an A.
