This entire concept cooked up by tech bros and AI bros that copyright laws are evil is, in itself, evil. At the very least, the idea that copyright laws are evil is a steaming stinking pile of bull crap.

The destruction of rare books merely to feed an AI system more training material feels to me like an attack upon civilization itself. Such willful destruction of books is the act of barbarians. These tech bros are barbarians.

You do know that I'm a traditional artist who is mad as hell over seeing artists' works, INCLUDING MY OWN, exploited by generative AI, don't you? As for whatever PCG might be (Public Consulting Group?, Premium Card Grading?, Performance Contracting Group?) ,I don't give a damn.

Would AI even be able to render leaves such as I rendered, by hand, in my illustration for Lindsey Duncan's "Mythocraft", cover art for Issue 2 of Plasma Frequency, October/November 2012? I doubt it. I suspect AI would go sloppy with such a detail.

Being a human artist who draws his linework by hand using artist pens on Bristol board and then cleans and touches-up his drawings digitally (still by hand), I can safely say that I myself, the artist, placed every single line in the works below and all were placed deliberately.

You guys miss a lot by being Anti Human Art, drawing and painting is so fun! I'm currently working on another retro-look sci-fi piece, and there will be nothing like the feeling of joy and satisfaction when it's done knowing that I drew it all by myself.

I guarantee I've worked harder on doing certain drawings than this AI user has worked prompting AI. All of the linework in my drawings has been and continues to be done by hand. In some works, I replace my initial ink lines with digital ones, but I still do it by hand.

My small business is an art business. There is nothing to automate, nothing I wish to automate. Why is it you fools can't get it through your heads that art isn't about speed and efficiency? Is that all you understand?

Earlier this evening, Michele and I watched A DOUBLE LIFE, starring Ronald Coleman. It was good. I've liked ever film noir work I've watched to-date, and this was no exception. The acting was solid, the cinematography creative at times, and the Shakespeare twist interesting.

I believe the ultimate point of most generative AI systems is to destroy current western culture and reform it into an AI-centered AI-controlled Neo-feudalistic culture ruled by tech bros, one in which tech bro overlords possess complete control of data and information.
