Well, we still have quite a few bees left in the tree, I'm told that it can take a few days before the drones left behind decide to join the New colony. Either that or the bee guy didn't manage to capture the queen, and the swarm is heading back our way and regathering in the tree.

Every year, the artists who design the medals for the summer solstice races completely outdo themselves. Always a joy to run the races, but I treasure these works of art.

I tail-walked #parkrun today, and then afterwards ran an alternate route with a deviation around the ponds to give my creaky knees a break from the strain from the hills after turnaround on our regular route.
