I was so preoccupied with the colonoscopy that I forgot to celebrate the 30th birthday of this masterpiece (released on 7th May, 1996). This is Pantera's best album and perhaps the finest groove metal album ever—all bangers.
I saw 'Hokum' tonight with some friends. I thought it was amazing. It was scary AF and it told a great story. McCarthy's best work yet.
Went up a big ol’ mountain yesterday. This was Ben Lomond NP in Tasmania. It was very impressive. Photos don’t do it justice.
Yo! I’ve made it down to Tasmania once again. Took a quick drive around North West Bay to Coningham in the arvo. Lovely as usual.
I'm now up to episode 470-something in One Piece and I don't intend to stop anytime soon. The last 80 or so episodes have been absolutely stellar and this current arc is just spectacular. It feels like the culmination of so many things that've happened throughout the series. It's very exciting.
I finished Resident Evil Requiem last night. I thought it was amazing. A love letter to fans who have stuck with the series all this time. Just brilliant.
I'm having so much fun with Mewgenics! It's all I'm playing at the moment. These cats have rotted my brain.
I'm now up to episode 250-something in One Piece, where the gang are on their way to Enies Lobby. I am officially hooked and so excited to see how these next episodes will play out.
Perfect Albums That Came Out When I Was 16: Deconstruction - Devin Townsend Project In Waves - Trivium A few 8s and 9s, but only two 10s.
I just finished watching Train Dreams (2025) and I was so deeply moved by it. What a special film.
I've been watching One Piece this week! I tried to watch it a few years ago, but stopped just after Usopp joined the crew, as it wasn't clicking for me. Well, I've picked it back up and I'm glad I did. It's such good fun! I'm up to Drum Island and I'm eager to see what's in store and what's next.
That’ll do. Lots of fun songs last year that flew under my radar. I’m curious to see who’ll come out on top this time because I have no clue.
