Finmere delivered today. It's toponym is 'pool frequented by woodpeckers' don't really associate woodpeckers' with pools. Saw neither. 12 century church but only font original. Biggish village and Hedrig decided he had enough and sat in the shade as I finished off. Right on Northamptonshire border

Hedrig was out helping delivery in Mixbury this morning. 12 century church and name comes from 'Fortification near dung heap'! There 18 villages in Division so expect lots of photos of Hedrig in front of their churches - the 🦮 puppy Eason will be old enough to 'help' in a few weeks
