I haven't uploaded a file to my Pixels print store in a while. I shot this yesterday on a hike with a Panasonic Lumix S5II and Sigma 20-200 lens, probably the best superzoom I've ever used. pixels.com/featured/bar...
I photographed this doe this morning. Any thoughts on what the growth is? It almost looks like an engorged tick, but I doubt they get this big.
While going through photos I took yesterday, I found this. It was pretty much a grab shot. But when I looked at it on the computer, it appears this bumblebee is attacking a crane fly. Which is weird, because they're generally not carnivorous. Maybe it considered the fly a threat.
A white-tailed deer doe I photographed a few days ago. The flowers are butterweed, native to southern Illinois, but are now invading Cook County due to the warming climate. They're toxic, so the deer won't touch them.
Shot this on my hike this morning. A belted kingfisher perched above the Des Plaines River just west of Chicago. Taken with a Lumix G9 Mark II and Lumix 100-300mm lens, cropped to about 12 megapixels. They're very wary and hard to get close to.
You must have taken one of those alternative history classes. I’d say let Justice Scalia know, but he’s dead. And I was around when Nixon tried it and lost.
Tesla Takedown protest, Gold Coast Tesla, Chicago. The middle sign got a lot of laughs. #teslatakedown
