I’d agree that Haltwhistle is the Geographical centre of UK.

Outside Haltwhistle brew bar is a metal sign post saying it’s 290 miles to North Orkney and 290 miles to south Portland Bill.

Newcastle cathedral RC on Christmas Eve with two huge Christmas trees either side of Altar both lit up with whire lights . The aisle is beautifully tilled with words running down the sides and blue red and yellow tiles.

A tall grey mechanical like tower with a gigantic grey wheel on top which lays pipes under water . Tied up on the river Tyne . It’s huge.
