Echo, my ghost-writer 🐶🌈Sheltie, says every day should be International Sheltie Day! Also, wags at Nanu.
My Echo used to send a recent photo to his (biological) mom on Mother's Day along with a MD wish. He never sent me any cards or officially wished me Happy (adoptive) Mother's Day. But I knew he meant it. Miss him. (2001-2016) 🐶 ❤️
I'm using Bluesky as my stress-free zone, a momentary escape from politics. People who DM me, ignoring everything in my bio, will be promptly unfollowed.

four days old when we met you and your eyes were closed: it was puppy love I found your puppy album golden treasures from the past joyful memories your exuberance, Echo, echoes in my heart
Looking at your bio, it seems you are musical. When I'm feeling blue I look for music I know makes me feel good. Yoga is something else I find helpful and you're already doing this. Maybe watch a funny movie. Just be patient with yourself. It takes time to heal from grief.
Sending light, healing vibes, and good thoughts to Louie and hugs to you. Here are some virtual tulips.
One of my favourite photos of Echo. I call it Leaf Dog. #Dogsofbluesky #sheltie
Echo liked to tear apart anything with stuffing, dog beds included. Couldn't give him soft toys. He thought it was a challenge to see how fast he could destroy things. (gratuitous Echo pic)
Yah for DINKWADs! We were that before retirement, but without the expensive hobbies. And our dog was spoiled but deserved to be.
I may or may not agree with your political opinions. But I'm not here for doom-scrolling, so if you're mainly about politics, I probably won't follow you. I need a break from all that.
Wilma, you're such a good snoopervisor and you'll do great in your new job. You'll always be with your mom; if she knows to look at your favourite spots, she'll know you're there (as well as over the bridge, because you're magical now and can be wherever you want. Say hi to Echo, my Sheltie.
#superdog Echo, my Sheltie, was a social butterfly and friendly to all dogs and people. But when our front door was accidentally left unlocked and an intruder tried to come in, he barked aggressively in a way I never heard before and sent her running away. He knew she didn't belong.
The trick is to put it into a ball of peanut butter. My dog knew it was there, of course, but he was willing to put up with it because of the peanut butter.
Have coffee, chocolate, my novel playlist, and preferably enjoying them all at a coffee shop, especially on vacation. I used to like this place, which doesn't exist anymore:
A tie among these three: snowy owl (a pencil drawing by James Houston) great horned owl and an Inuit boreal owl sculpture, representing two of my novel's characters (Doswell-Crescentia)
Shelties are the best, "personality plus" to quote Echo's breeder.
purple orchid plant I forgot to water you-- sorry, my old friend #haiku
