#Letterboxd #LastFourWatched A shout-out to Soviet Bus Stops. An uplifting pilgrimage by a Canadian photographer to find Soviet era bus stops, which were an outlet for joyful architectural freedom, an escape from the utilitarian, regimented mass production of buildings. Unexpectedly delight. 📽️
Some midweek motorsports photos, Production Cars in action at Oulton Park sometime in 1986. Motor Cycle star Barry Sheen in the No7 Toyota, Tony Lanfranchi in the Opel Monza, not sure who arte the 2 guys kicking up the dust at Old Hall corner #racingsaloons #B&W
I preferred my FM2/FE2 bodies to my F3. The F3 was an outstanding camera, but I ultimately got better shots with the FM2/FE2. Maybe muscle memory or just familiarity but all my best shots were not with the F3.
I found this on Reddit, it struck me how much I miss this guy. He was not without faults, and his life choices were often unwise, but his humanity and joy for life, in all its many colours and hues was exemplary. His shows are on repeat on my kitchen iPad, an inspiration. RIP Tony. #bourdainday
#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched An eclectic bunch of movies, war has been on my mind recently. The Day After with Jason Robards was particularly depressing, more a warning than entertainment 🫣
This was at the same corner with a 300mm f2.8, Fuji Neopan 400, uncropped, circa 1986
Post a movie you paid to watch but walked out of the theatre it was so bad. Rollerball (2002), truly dreadful. #letterboxd #badmovies 📽️
I used to be a motorsports photographer, if you want to see more like this, let me know. #photography #motorracing #clubracing
Bad news is I found fungus inside the lens 😭 not on the external facing glass. What began as a simple resto, is beginning to get serious. Do I continue to attempt to disassemble the lens elements and clean, send for a professional fix, or give up...? #YashicaElectro35
Cleaning up my #Yashica GTN, some good and bad news... Sticky shutter is getting better each time I press it. A good lube is all that's needed. Lots of dust inside the body, a good puff with my handy rocket blower, and ear buds with a little alcohol to clean off the stubborn bits. However...
From Sean Young to Ana de Armas, Blade Runner has made my heart beat faster than no other franchise 💗

Impressive, maybe 10 years ago I could have managed it but not now 😆
Post one or more photos inspired by, but not necessarily featuring rail tracks. #photography #random
The Electro 35 was very popular as it was an almost fully automatic camera, which isn't my ideal setup, but it was considered to be the poor man's Leica M in its day. The original mercury battery is no longer available, so I will use an Etone adaptor which allows the camera to be powered by... 2/
My first step back to #analogue #B&W #photography, my MIL gifted me this #Yashika Electro 35 GTN which hasn't been used for more than 20 years. It will need some TLC to get it back to full working order, the initial job is to get it powered up which means getting hold of a battery adaptor. 1/
Do a search for the F1 MultiViewer, I used it before it was not possible with a Pro account. There is a Discord and a Reddit sub.
