The Life of **uck (2024)... You know those moments when you realize that you'll never click with a famous creative person? Fl*nagan, I gave that sequel a pass, and I trudged through Midnight *ass, but this is where we part ways. Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again.

Supergirl (2026)... Putting my disappointment aside with what is looking like another DCU failure to launch, I do feel like I was a bit harsh on this, but only because I'm frustrated by how it was handled (and how Lobo was mishandled). Milly Alcock is great (I check my spelling EVERY TIME), and I hope this doesn't hurt her career much, as I want to see more of her outside of the Dragons n' Tiddies Universe.

Sisu: Road to Revenge (2025)... Like I skeeted earlier, I don't remember the first film being so silly, but I still had a good time! But damn this thing is Looney Tunes, from the flipping tank to the Wile E. Coyote rocket! Again, not criticisms! And part of me hopes that the director keeps this tone for his Rambo prequel, which would make it more in line with the cartoon, not to mention the absurd 'Last Blood' (Has a sharp movie ever devolved into such sequel shlock before? I know that's a hard yes, but this is a hard example. Hard digress... Babies everywhere!)

Until Dawn (2025)... Weird! Tonally and totally! PG vibes with vulgarity and extreme gore sprinkled in! Bad Cabin in the Woods! Loose remake of Amityville 1992: It's About Time! Early 2000's remake of Waxwork II! I kept wavering between "what is this?" and "who is this for?" and from my understanding, it wasn't for fans of the games, nor fans of movies. I wanted to defend it a bit-- Odessa A'zion (hot!), those references above, practical effects (juicy 'splosions!)-- but it really lost steam in the end (admittedly this was a "why'd I wake up at 2am" movie*). Anyway, the one guy looked like Jared Leto. Also even the end credits song is like Disney Channel! People were exploding in this film! David F. Sandberg should direct Goosebumps 3.

*I'll probably watch another flick or two before the Friday is out, but I had to get my thoughts out on Until Dawn (which is why I can't hate it!💥)
