Many years ago I had a Cs pennant hanging in my room. I had it until it fell apart. Obviously I bought other pennants & banners over the years, but none had that connection to my soul. Last week I saw a pristine version of it for sale. Today it hangs in my home office and my inner child is happy.
Statistically there’s not a lot of difference, though they slightly favor PG. Biggest improvements over JB would be shooting percentage, rebounds, and turnovers
I’ll be the first to say that Bobby Marks’ analytics buddy is full of shit about JB. There is no way any knowledgeable person believes his ridiculous claim of being the 7th player on a team. Analytics are not the whole story. Data CAN tell stories of patterns/trends. Here’s an interesting one:
This play may have sealed JB’s fate. Indicative of what Brad wants to change. You make this pass to Queta 10/10 times. The corner 3 PP did take was a high percentage, probably 40%. Over the course of a game the odds would likely bear out a 60% EFG. But on a single possession, it’s 40% vs 100%.
Pretty well actually. He’s pretty nimble laterally and at 6’11” he presents enough length to close out quickly. Defensive rating and +/- ratings over the past few years back this up.
Imagine taking the time to sift through rumors and align them with facts to make reasonable statements. He’s offering an opinion here, but he’s clear in stating that.
When you repeatedly kick the asses of several rivals for years upon years, it shouldn’t surprise us how much hate/envy that generates. OKC won’t stay in this tier, they’re just currently despised for their unethical behavior. The Cs have taken up permanent residence here, and it’s rent free!
Cs fans saying Kornet’s departure was a huge mistake are overvaluing his contributions. He made a GREAT block in this game for sure, but overall he did not have much of an impact in this series. He was a -38 for the series. Played just 11 minutes per game. Love Luke, but keep it real.
Apparently Giannis was at the Champions League final. He gave an interview and this appeared on the screen…. Not quite sure what to make of this. Probably falls somewhere between nothing and something. Just over 3 weeks to the draft, so perhaps we’ll have clarity soon.
JB telling SAS to retire! LOL By the way, keep both JB and JT. It’s always about building around them.
So the player who is a consensus top 5 MVP candidate and likely All NBA first teamer makes the 12th most money this year. He plays almost every night and he led a “gap” year team easily into the playoffs is a bad contract? GTFOH. For perspective here’s who makes about what they claim his value is
The Pistons, Knicks, and obviously the Cavs all lost today. Suddenly the Cs are lurking just 2.5 games out of first.
