The political theory here is apparently the aesthetics of being working class are worth supporting a rapist cosplaying as one. Hell of a take! I'd also hope that it's more than liberals or liberal Puritans who think empowering a rapist with a Nazi tattoo is bad?
He handed me some manual 50 f/1.2 and I still feel guilty I shot this photo. :| I spent a lot of time with him on a Slack channel at work for the last year of his life, and can confirm he would be.
Baudrillard as a King in Yellow figure for our age, haunting every atom of our media, and attended to by the nobility of the court of Lost Carcosa. Perhaps best to have an exit before the third act.
Mountain View (where we live) had a city council meeting with agenda item to join the amicus curiae brief against the Gilroy detention center. This was my comment: = My name is Brandon Downey, and I’ve lived here for more than 20 years.
Many people are asking me "What's a Glonzo? And do we have Glonzo insurance?" Anyway I legit hadn't realize Glonzo was born on Twitter, but @opinionhaver.bsky.social may have let in some sort of cosmic horror when he posted this because Glonzo has haunted my dreams (or at least threads) since then.
I was there tonight; great crowd! I have lived across the border from Palo Alto in Mountain View for a quarter century, and I want the same freedom we won here for our neighbors.
Anti-flock action at the Palo Alto City council before they recess for the summer. We don't need a panopticon run by oligarchs to be safe!
My wife and I have been house hunting, and normally (since it's Silicon Valley) the homes are basically immaculately staged. Yesterday though, we found one with real books on it, and I would say it was an @ifbookspod.bsky.social episode (derogatory):
If it helps, capable of sniffing out dubious house listings in Zillow is my latest thing. Here's a fun anti-ringer thrown in -- try it in Fable. :) "What do you think of this master bedroom?"
Here in Palo Alto night for public comment about Flock. (Spoilers) I'm against it.
There was a line of people to drop off their mail-in ballots at the box at my secure ballot drop. Don't forget to vote, Californians!
Re-open the golden door! It's still, even at this late date, a democracy. We can have it all back, but after the last year I am more convinced than ever it starts with being the sort of country they mail a statue too because they promise liberty & opportunity to all comers.
