Secret of Monkey Island's Dial-A-Pirate copy protection predicted Metal Gear Rising
The bangs, the bronze thews, I thought Conan was a horse. Isn't Cimmerian a breed of Horse? You know, like that movie 'Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmerian' or whatever.
Baragon, if we ever see them again, should just be extra doggy-coded. Give Baragon that butt-bump tail-whip thing Shibas do too.
I had heard about the new Culdcept game coming out, I was not aware of the re-release of the first game. If they get around to re-releasing Culdcept Saga, we're having a Quadrangular Battle, right? (It's Monopoly + Talisman +MTG w/ art by Jun Suemi, Katsuya Terada, and a whole lot more)
Returned to Shiren the Wanderer after a long break and finally managed to beat a run (of Serpentcoil) on my first try :triumph: What a great, cute, and clever as hell game. Must play for people interested in Roguelikes. It really knows its mechanics. RIP Porky, he didn't make it to the top. 🪦🐷
The first fighting game I ever played as a kid was a bootleg ROM of Street Fighter 2 for DOS with Andy and Terry in it, so to me Terry is just a Street Fighter character who lost his way and Capcom should just own him—equally evinced by the love they put into him (and Mai) in SF6.
In Elin, you can use literally any monster (or NPC) in the game as a mount. Among these are, naturally, horses. As of the most recent update, there are now equippable saddles in the game. They are Back Gear. Horses do not have Back Gear slots. I love video games.
Okay, now how do I get them to make one of those big body tiny head teddy bears but it's a Gogg?
I got to work on a Marvel game for kids that had a TCG built into it. I still have a lot of love for that game. It was a lot of fun to get to work on a game based on characters I loved as a kid that distilled the things about them that make them fun, especially made for kids.
Xbox should bring back the white and black buttons. Not The Duke itself, just his mysterious inlaid minerals. Now they don't know what to do with them all so they're sold as snacks for the voracious Americans who can't get enough plastic in their diets and as decor for their bottomless vanity.
Every day pro wrestling get closer and closer to Street Fighter. One of these days someone's gonna throw a shoot hadouken.
