Last night I got to go to the Kiki ball down in the shiny new Karanga-a-Hape Station and it was great. Beautiful people and great energy ⚡️
Surely this isn’t legal… not sure what road rules they’re breaking though It’s a convoy of more than 6 cars with massive speakers on their roofs absolutely blasting.

I made a couple of additions to my collection of petite cutlery that other people stole from international flights only to discard at various op shops around Aotearoa, so I thought I’d pull them all out of the kitchen drawer and look at them together.

I just ate the worst pulled pork sliders in the world ever. Nothing about them was good. The bread was blah, the meat was too salty and yet somehow flavourless, the coleslaw was almost nonexistent but dressed in a sauce that clashed with every thing else & there was a too sweet bbq sauce 0.5/10
Some parts of my childhood were actually pretty good. 40 years ago my sisters and I all received roller skates for Christmas and my little cousin got a bmx.
My biggest complaint from my visit yesterday was that I didn’t get a wee Swedish flag with the meatballs.
