Originally from Bedlington now resident in Moray. Exiled NUFC fan. Bedlington Terrier owner, Tech nerd, Avionics Instructor and apparently a runner (Who knew?)
Seen a few people suggest that Newcastle need to sign a statement player to get the fans on side. That reminds that one of the players pictured got me excited initially and the other had me bemused. Certainly had gone a full 180 by the time their respective times at the club ended though
Did another uphill 10km today, deliberately slowed it down and kept it in zone 2 for the first 5 miles, then ran a tempo last mile. Was surprised how easy it was for the most part to keep the HR down #RunningPunks #VRC
Post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet (if you feel like it)
So seeing as I finished my last NHS shift early and I was feeling a little bittersweet, I decided to blow the cobwebs away with this little beauty that just arrived #Hellacopters #CreamOfTheCrapVol3
The third Bedlington terrorist is slowly integrating into the pack. Couldn’t imagine the visit to the dog field being this calm only a few weeks ago
Can’t go wrong with any @brookmyre.bsky.social IMO, but maybe just because I’m a 40 something gamer too, but I love both Pandaemonium and Bedlam
Wasn’t the most unusual experience for me given my previous job. But I can remember thinking it was pretty cool when approaching Atlanta a few years back watching all of the aircraft in approach on the multiple runways
This is Rinnes the third Bedlington Terrorist to join our little pack. He’s currently in Anglesey with the wife who collected him today, so I don’t get to meet him until next week, but he’s already terrifying our other two 🤣
Just watched MOTD, the fact that Rosenior still had the brass neck to suggest that Palmer should've had a penalty for standing on Big Nick's foot, after seeing the replays shows what a classless clown he truly is.
First time in a long while I've felt able to trust my body whilst running. Fingers crossed the injuries are finally in the rearview for a while 🤞 26:50 is not anywhere near the fast 5k I've ran, but given where I've felt trapped most of the past 2 years I'll happily take it
And pray tell how many public buildings and functions will have to close in order to afford this jingoist bollocks?
New Guitar almost finished by the luthier. Will be living out Johnny Thunders and Paul Westerberg fantasies in the man cave soon 😍
Managed to get out again this morning, went two minutes quicker than yesterday on account of having tunes on. Gave the Molotovs record a spin, quite enjoyed the music but can’t shake the fact that they feel like incongruent, nepotism baby, industry plants
Just been gently easing back into running these past few weeks, after yet another lower back issue. Looking forward to the spring when it doesn’t take such a monumental effort to get out of the door
Went crate digging in Vinyl2Vintage in Nairn this afternoon, chuffed to bits with this
Well after shit few days at work there’s nothing like a great gig, to get you feeling good again and safe to say My Bloody Valentine bloody well delivered
Much like blaming unionised workers for the ills of the 70’s rather than inept public schoolboy management. The lack of investment in infrastructure is one of the main drivers of the U.K. productivity gap. Here’s a picture of a productive Bedlington to make up for my rant
Managed to get another 5k in this morning for #RunningPunks #VRC a bit slower than yesterday’s, but another 5km in the legs without the back exploding 🤞
Part of me is gutted that this is classed as progress given how relatively slow it is, but given where I’ve been recently I’ll take every small victory. #FirstSub30_5km_InAWhile
Skeet a PERFECT album from the 90s that isn’t Nirvana or Pearl Jam
