It’s a Super Sunday. A great day for a Pre-Game Pliny the Younger. Wait… what? Yep. On tap at Super Deli Mart. (They got a full keg this year!)
Last night I drank the beer. I did not taste any poop, not that I know what bear poop tastes like. It's true that black bears eat a lot of huckleberries, and I tasted plenty of that, so then again... I'd describe it as a light-bodied huckleberry lager.
And the counting of the number shall be one. Not shall it be 1.5. Nor shall it be two. Three is right out. One is the counting of the number. Go #mariners!
Since learning of Ozzy's passing, the good folks at KEXP have been playing nothing but Ozzy and Sabbath. Like, for two hours so far. (Who does that?) If you need it, as I do, you can listen to the livestream at KEXP.org.
How about that! This beer won a silver medal at the World Beer Cup. Brewed by Deschutes Brewery. Have you tried it?

One of my faves this year has been Flannel Channel from Seapine Brewing. Always a good one. I’m just starting to transition over to winter beers.
I swear, this will be my last fresh hop beer of the season. Really. I mean it this time! Cheers to Celebration and Sierra Nevada Brewing!
Okay, I swear this will be my last fresh hop beer of the year. Promise! Maybe. Probably not. There’s snow at Snoqualmie Pass and beer too! Dru Bru’s fresh hop Krush IPA.
