Today is the shortest day of the year in the southern hemisphere. For those living far south - the days are going to start getting longer. Leaving for work and returning in the dark will decrease. May take weeks to notice but it will get easier. Enjoy the day ☀️ 🌻 Photos I took yesterday

Later that day we sat by the water as time passed. This place was named in recent times the River Styx. Wonder what it's been called going back much longer than my ancestors have lived in Australia? #BlueSkyArtShow #green with a glimpse of #blue

In 2023 as I walked to Point Lookout in New England National Park I noticed the scars from the Australian black summer scene turn into green moss. It's a cold rainforest at 1,564 m above sea level No photos from the lookout because the mist blocked the view #BlueSkyArtShow #Green

Moss is covering an old cold rainforest from the rocks towards the front through to the trees in the back. This includes Eucalyptus trees.

My main plan today. Go to my local bakery to buy bread x2 and a custard tart. Then walk an extra block so I walk along the beach. Decided to sit on a bench to eat my custard tart and enjoy the view. What my life now is in Melbourne on the weekend 😎

Do you ever put some things away so well you then cannot remember where they were put away. Yay to finding the container / box again. That's me with my Camera + I'm now charging my main Camera! Guess this means 2025 should = taking more photographs
