Getting older and hopefully smarter. I live a quiet life with my hubby, youngest son, and youngest granddaughter. Gardening and making our home comfortable as I always wanted a safe haven. I finally have that. I wish the best to all of us struggling. 🦋🦋🦋
I lost my son and my dog in the same year. 💔 I did get another dog and it’s a comfort.
Got a visitor this morning. So curious! It climbed in my lap and pulled on my shirt and shorts and tried nibbling my arm and knee. Waddled away to look for more bugs. Honestly feel like a friggin Disney Princess! 🤣♥️
No Kings in Williamsburg VA. Over 1600 people and it was awesome. Happy and peaceful. Almost no police presence and only two people and one truck I saw yelling Trump stuff.
With Halloween coming up I thought you might enjoy my son’s costume from last year. He really committed to it and had the top of his head shaved. He went to college and was the only one dressed up. 🤣 As he’s very introverted I was so pleased for him.
My son passed away 5 years ago. He passed too early from alcoholic hepatitis. I was fortunate to be able to be with him for his last two weeks. Watching my son slip away, while there was nothing that could be done, was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Hug your loved ones and make the days count.
As I was scrolling through posts I’ve saved this one says a lot. Micah passed away in Sept of 2020. My heart still aches for my son.
A little cooler today so I did a little mowing and checking all the flowers.
