Spending a beautiful weekend up at my parents' place, celebrating my mum's 70th birthday. The smoker is going with ribs on it, there's a nice brush fire in the fire pit, I'll be making Korean fried chicken later, the lake is calm, and the trilliums are out. Can't ask for much more. 🥰

Pretty chuffed that my maker's mark stamp is finally working. It just took four different 3D prints of various letter sizes and fonts to finally get one that worked and is legible. I love it! 🥰 #pottery

Here in Maine it is FINALLY warm enough to not have frost warnings at night. So we planted a couple plum saplings! Two different varietals, both will (supposedly) bear stone-free fruit. Exciting! I'm looking forward to making plum preserves and plum wine in a few years. 😋

Tonight's #DnD session ended with us finding a pretty cryptic message. Huge kudos to Lodaim, the GM, for creating this puzzle! I love a good cryptogram, and he knows it. 🥰 ...I did solve it within a half hour of the game being over. 😆

As someone who does #3Dprinting, this grinds my gears. Below is an advertisement for a #pottery product, a cup chuck you can quick attach to your wheel. That "Anti-Slip Coating"? That's not a 'coating', that is what a FDM #3Dprint looks like. The layers *are the print*. This system sells for $500.😠

I've been having a blast with the #Kiln open beta! Here's some of my 'pottery'...which obviously look nothing like pottery. 😆 I think my fav is the giant cauldron, but that's a biiig pot, moves slow, and gets walloped in the fighting arena. The lil pots are total menaces in the arena.

I just brought all my greenware over to the studio to be fired, and this is the state when it's the most fragile. #pottery #ceramics These Maine streets are NOT meant for transporting delicate items any sort of distance! I was playing Frogger w/potholes & frost heaves. So I got home and made this:

Happy Trans Day o' Visibility! Did you know that Beholders choose their gender, if they even want one? Love that for them. #miniatures #trans
